Create groups and choose Reading tools
- Open the Teacher Dashboard and go to Groups.
- Choose Create group, for example a class, a reading group or a newspaper club.
- Add pupils to the group. A pupil can be in more than one group.
- Use the settings icon to choose which Reading tools the group can use.
Pupils can then switch those tools on and off for themselves.
Can more than one teacher manage a group?
Yes. This lets teaching assistants, SENDCOs and subject teachers work with the same pupils. It also makes handing groups to a new teacher simple at the start of a school year.
How do I see what my pupils are reading?
The Reporting and Activity pages of the Teacher Dashboard show articles read, reading time, reading streaks and likes.
