Log in and bookmark First News Digital
- Go to the My Account login page.
- Log in with your work email address and the password you chose.
- Open First News Digital from the Subscriptions tab.
- Bookmark your homepage so you can go straight there next time.
Temporary Log In lets you open First News Digital until Thursday 17 December, but with limited features. Your own login unlocks everything the new First News Digital was built for.
What a personal login unlocks
- Teacher Dashboard: your pupils, groups, activity feed and reporting, all in one place.
- See who is reading: reading activity for every pupil in your groups, and which stories they enjoy most.
- Reading tools: dyslexia-friendly fonts, colour themes, text size and spacing, a reading ruler and focus mode, so every pupil can read their way.
- Reading streaks and likes: pupil features that show up straight away in your activity feed.
- Search and filter by subject: find the right story for tomorrow's lesson.
- Teacher and pupil profiles: every teacher and pupil gets their own login and a personalised reading space.
- PDF of every edition: download and print from Newspaper issues in the Teacher Dashboard.
Will I need to log in every time?
No. Your bookmark takes you straight in. For security, you will be asked to log in again 30 days after your last login.
Can I still use our school's FNEID?
Only until Thursday 17 December, using Temporary Log In, and only with limited features. After that the FNEID no longer gives any access.
