Make reading accessible with Reading tools
- Click the Reading tools button, bottom right of the screen. A sidebar opens.
- Choose the options that work for you.
- With an article open, use Read aloud and Accessible version above the article text.
What is available
- Light, Dark, Sepia and High contrast modes
- Four text sizes and three fonts, including dyslexia-friendly options
- Three line and paragraph spacing options
- A reading ruler that follows the cursor
- Focus mode, which hides everything except the article
- Read aloud, which reads the article to the pupil
- Accessible version, a simplified version of the article for lower-level readers and EAL pupils
