Weekly activities and the custom plan
Engage Pro has weekly comprehensions, crosswords and polls, and fortnightly debates, all based on articles from the latest issue of First News. There is also an archive of previous activities and the News Gallery for writing inspiration.
- Automatic plan: new activities are published every Monday morning and appear on pupil and teacher dashboards. Past activities move to the Activity Library. You can direct pupils to particular activities, or give instructions, with the message function.
- Custom plan: choose which activities pupils see in the Activity Management area. Pupils only see the activities you assign, at school or at home.
Engage reading levels
- Level 1: lower KS2, Year 3 to 4 (P4 to 5)
- Level 2: upper KS2, Year 5 to 6 (P6 to 7)
- Level 3: KS3, Year 7 to 9 (S1 to 3)
