WHEN First News was asked to select a reader to carry the Olympic torch for the London 2012 Olympic Games, we had no hesitation in recommending Sarah Austin.

I definately think that Sarah should be carrying the Olympic torch even though she has cerebral palsy. She doesn't care what anyone thinks about her and she is going to hold that torch for her and all disabled children. I hope she is very proud and privelledged. Well done, Sarah!

That's a really amazing acheivement! Well done!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The Olympic torch is going through a village near my country house which is in the middle of nowhere. I was very pleased when I heard!
